python-openscap software package provides Set of libraries enabling integration of the SCAP line of standards, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-openscap
python-openscap is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-openscap package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-openscap *
You will get with python-openscap package name, version, architecture and description in a table
